Lotta Cole is a Swedish interior designer based in London who wanted to share a project she just completed in Notting Hill. The flat is situated in the heart of Notting Hill, and the design scheme mixes bright splashes of colour with reclaimed materials and quirky details, such as the antique spoon handles in the kitchen, antique mirrors in the stair, and wooden door knobs throughout the flat. The project was completed May 2011 by Lotta Cole Design. Love the Smeg fridge – and the colour!! Thank you for sharing Lotta!

Great job on personalizing the kitchen: hello, lime green Smeg!

What a fun place! I really like the pops of color (the fridge, the yellow sink) and the cabinet pulls. It's got great individual style and I wouldn't mind living here. Nice!
Agi says:
I could live there 🙂 Love the spaces and the colour splashes.

Sorry, (don't shoot me) but aside from the gorgeous SMEG fridge this looks like a 'before' to me.
Pia says:
My aunt did the spoon kitchen cabinet pulls about a decade ago in her apartment in Finland. I love that idea.

Wow! Very nice, just the right splash of color accents! Perfectly complements the neutral palette.
Becky says:
I love it! It's refreshingly unpretentious yet thoughtfully and artistically put together. Right up my alley. I'd love it even without the spoons :).
Cath W says:
Um HELLO That fridge is way too big for the space. Ridiculous.
Molly B says:
Really fresh use of colours and patterns, I totally adore the tiles in the kitchen, and the herringbone floor. Very cool.
