Relaxed and chic, faded and fabulous. Old and new, vintage with industrial, shabby with found and natural. Even though some of these pictures have popped up on Desire to Inspire over the years I can’t believe we’ve never focused on the design duo of Lyn Gardener and Amanda Henderson-Marks of Gardener & Marks. Time to right that oversight today. Bowerbirds of style.

What an absolutely lovely space. I love all the collections, the beautiful array of neutrals, and the found objects display in glass jars.

This design is perfectly adorable. I love how using so much white and cream colors can make the rooms look simplistic, but you look at the room again and there is absolutely nothing simple about it. Great job.

I can't wait for the shabby chic look to be gone. Just looks dirty.
I think this kind of work looks it's best photographed. Would you really want to live with book pages stuck on the wall?

I love all of the white rooms here, they are eclectict but nicely put together and some of the elements here remind me of the way I grew up when we didn't have a lot. This next comment is for anja001: you can acchieve the floor look with pine boards (1×6 from Home depot or lowes) painted and they'll get distressed overtime by walking on them, good luck!
