Stalking 2

Warehouse stalking number 2. An apartment in a much bigger building in Surry Hills, Sydney. Perhaps we should call it a loft. Gone is the exposed and the industrial juxtaposed with the slick. Now it’s slick and modern all the way. High ceilings, concrete floors and metal windows are a hint at its past but now there are plywood cutouts, stainless steel kitchens and designer furniture. Still a touch of retro cool though. Gotta love the marriage of retro and warehouse. Which do you prefer warehouse 1 or warehouse 2?Link here while it lasts.

I think I actuaaly prefer the first one, although the unfinished ceilings bother me. I find those cut out boards in the second one very distracting. And I couldn't get over that handbag collection in the bedroom of the second one!

Hi Jo & Kim

Just stumbled onto your blog.
How cool is that, that you've never met!?!
Everyday I learn something new.
Anyway, greetings from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The photographs look very professional & the writing warm and personal.
I agree with the previous comment, the cut-out holes on the wooden, what looks like ply wood, looks…well, cheap. Sorry!
You are doing a splendid job. Keep the fire burning.

So the only access to the bathroom is through "Bedroom 3"? It's not exactly good architectural design, is it.

Ew. Chicken Pox house!

This is certainly a rare find, especially in Surry Hills! I find the current decor questionable though…
