Still spot

I’m lost in the London listings on onefinestay. “A fresh alternative to a hotel for a short stays, live like a local without compromising on service and comfort.” May be a slogan but it seems to be true. Look at this oasis in the bustling city. Love the grey walls (the listing says duck egg blue but my monitor is definitely reading more grey… I’m fantasising about that blue though), the pared back furnishings, a scattering of vintage and the historic details. Simplicity and style. So refreshing. Excuse me while I pop over to Beresford Terrace for a few days stay. I really need to straighten that sofa cushion ;)<

That´s it. That´s mine. Love at the first sight. So incredible beautiful. It´s so stylish and very individual in a normal way. Sometimes I like it more than anything else. And everywhere there´s space left in between. CONGRATS! Happy living.

And in the other corner… it doesn't work. The architecture fights the furniture choices, it positively screams against the messy industrial motif of the kitchen. Both bedrooms are devoid of interest. Not stark — I like stark. It has all the charm of a temporary refugee sit.

I like the sort of impromptu quality of the kitchen, myself. I can imagine myself working in there. But I wish they'd centred their charming furniture below the mirrors. Lovely vignettes.

What a difference tall windows make, simply transformative.

Very, very charm and chic….

I hadn't had time to drool over my usual interior design blogs for the last two weeks and today was catching up on all the missed posts and basically scrolling over all the images up to this point indifferently, but this apartment instantly caught my attention. Can't pinpoint the reason, but I kind of fell in love with it. Love the horse's head on the wall, love the random furniture and loooooooooove the kitchen 🙂

and this is how I envision our next home. love everything!!!

I do not consider myself a person with OCD … but please, please, please! can someone straithen that cushion! please…. it hurts. It doesn't let me enjoy those tall and beautiful walls and windows. Damn it, I need help … again 😉

Thanks for the mention Jo!

Got to love Beresford Terrace (2).. I had never noticed the cushion before, but now that will drive me crazy too!
