Elizabeth Roberts – part 2

Here is another project by architectural designer Elizabeth Roberts. My favourite element is the little reading nook. Cute!! The Fort Greene Townhouse is located in the Historic District of Fort Greene, Brooklyn. The renovation created 2 separate duplex apartments for the 2 families who purchased the building together. A family member designed the lower level duplex. Elizabeth Roberts Design designed the upper level duplex creating 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 private offices, a kitchen patio overlooking the garden and a new roofdeck accessed through a new stair to the roof.

Katey says:

What a beautiful home! I love the bookshelf! ♥

Jas says:

Wouldn't mind living in Brooklyn if I had one of these two to call home!

how2home says:

I love the tiles in the front door! What a beautiful idea.

Blanders says:

Tragically the family will lose the building in the lawsuit that occurs the first time a woman in stilletos walks out onto that balcony.

That's just bad design.

futronix says:

hey blanders… how many people wear stilletos on veranda`s????… i like the balcony….. bad design , no……bad attitude…yes.

mandarine says:

Ummm… everyone wears stilettos on the balcony! But I would have to make an exception for that one – platform wedges 🙂 Still wouldn't call it bad design, it's inviting enough to take your shoes off if that's what's needed. All of those staircases with no back to each tread is actually where laywers make their millions.
