Stalking a sleek white tradition

For those who have lamented in comments recently of the propensity of Australians to tack on the equivalent of a law firm’s modern waiting room to the back of an historic home here is a little traditional stalking. All be it sleek and white and cool. Woollahra, Sydney. Link here while it lasts.

A cool breeze just blew through… aaahhh. 🙂 I love the façade (haint blue!) I love the modern touches, I really like the art, so lighthearted. Oh, the expression in that zebra's eyes! Sure, I'd strip out most of the smaller furniture bits, but that's just different taste. I wouldn't change the media room one bit — I love that bright red was used as a 'discreet' thematic call-out.

Would love to settle my legal affairs there (call-back to my earlier lament.)

Perfection pretty much sums it up for me

I'm in love, just perfect

I love how they let the white of the walls let the fabrics, artwork and upholstery take center stage. Beautiful home. Thank you for sharing.
