The Cross Design – Yaletown condo

I have another girly pad for you by Vancouver’s The Cross Design. This one is a 1200 sq ft. condo located in the heart of Yaletown designed to be kid friendly. But it’s so white! I guess in this case bleach is your friend. LOL (It was featured in a Christmas issue of Canadian House & Home hence the slightly festive decor). It’s so freaking pretty, and I totally love the art and chandelier in the dining room.

Gorgeous! Girly yes, but totally warm for a family too! Thanks for sharing.

What's up with turning the book spines backwards so you could never find a title if you were looking for it? I noticed it in the previous post too. I'd say it's a choice of styling over substance…

At first glance I thought that was a bed in a dining room or was it a dining table in the bedroom! But no it was a chaise lounge… which I love….

Totally gorgeous, I have kids and a white house and yes I do become a bit crazed about wiping the walls!! I wouldn't change it though. White is so calm and elegant and adding chandeliers really softens the look – showering you in light, adding warmth to ensure the room feels welcoming and homely. The chandelier in the above dining room is perfect. By adding hints of gold/colour, subtle patterned wallpaper, ornate mirrors and texture through the fab bed headboard and the natural wooden floors, really completes the look of the home making it so inviting.
