Happy Friday everyone! New house possession day is coming up very soon and last night we finalized our new mortgage, so I am now accepting donations…..just kidding. 🙂 I have a weekend of packing ahead of me so hopefully you all have more exciting things happening. I thought you might enjoy some eye candy from Melbourne photographer Nicole England. And if the photo above doesn’t bring a smile to your face….

Mark Cutler

It has been ages since we last featured LA interior designer Mark Cutler (the last time it was this sweet beachfront pad) and the other day he sent us some photos from a couple of his latest projects. Always fabulous – I am lusting after the dining chairs above, and the étagère in the 6th photo. I must mention that Mark also has a new venture recently launched called nousDECOR – a start-to-finish solution for anyone decorating a space. If you love creating moodboards and find them handy for your interior projects this site is for you!

Stalking a little blue terrace

Posted on Fri, 20 Jun 2014 by midcenturyjo

It’s no secret that I love these little terrace houses. I love the way that people live their lives in homes that are only a few metres wide. How do they cram in all their “stuff”? Do they look cluttered? Is it necessarily a spartan life or a hoarder’s horror? I wouldn’t be able to resist stalking this powder blue end of terrace with its perky red door if I was walking past in real life. What’s inside? Can I peak through the window? Thank goodness for virtual stalking! Come on in. Let’s look around. The link for this Surry Hills, Sydney home is here while it lasts.

It’s eye candy Thursday…ok, it’s eye candy every day here on DTI. I thought I would share some beauties from French photographer Eric Flogny. And now I am going to try and figure out how I can climb through my monitor and into that tub above.

Liz Levin

Loving these spaces by Washington interior designer Liz Levin (especially that yummy hallway above). Liz mixes old and new, traditional blended with contemporary, to create unique designs that refreshing and chic. This idea is along the lines of what I imagine I will have to come up with in my new home so all the traditional details make sense…
