A location home in Primrose Hill

Posted on Sun, 31 Jan 2016 by KiM

Sundays are for naps, catching up on todo lists, and a good dose of eye candy. This location home in Primrose Hill, London is epic and definite eye candy. 16,500 sq ft of gorgeous architecture and decor and includes a private courtyard, event space, pool, gym, music room and cinema. The kitchen is killer, and the bathroom with brass light fixtures is going in my inspiration folder. Via jj Locations.

Working on a Saturday

Posted on Sat, 30 Jan 2016 by midcenturyjo

In this world there are the “haves” and the “have nots” and on a Saturday it is all about the “haves”, the “have to go to work” contingent. No need to be hopping mad about dragging yourself into the office on a weekend if it looked like this. No you’d be twitching with excitement to get in on time. New Zealand interior design firm Hare‘s own offices, a wonderful work warren.

A kitchen and bathroom renovation

Buenos Aires based architect Maria Eugenia Carranza of Estudio Carranza emailed us about a couple of her latest projects. This kitchen and bathroom renovation was my favourite. Any kitchen with a black floor and white subway tile with dark grout is going to win me over. Throw in a bathroom with beautiful, bold floral wallpaper and I am left shouting YES! YES! YES! followed by a fist pump.

A new project by Amanda Hamilton

It has been quite some time since I featured Calgary interior design Amanda Hamilton‘s work. Here’s a little update with the bonus of being total eye candy. This Scarboro residence is all class with a limited colour palette of white, grey and blue. Sophisticated and casually elegant with such attention to detail. GORG!

Pool with terrace and fire

So deceptively simple. A pool, a terrace with fireplace, a minimal fence, a bath and a view over Auckland Harbour. Small but beautifully formed. By Fearon Hay Architects.
