It takes alot for me to get excited about Christmas decor (maybe because I am bitter that I can’t do much with all these damn cats around to destroy everything), but when I stumbled upon the portfolio of London based stylist/designer Sophie Brown, it took about 5 milliseconds. OMG! OMG! OMG! These first 3 photos in particular are soooo magical. And if you aren’t into holiday decor I threw in some regular stuff because it’s pretty fabulous too.

Still need a virtual holiday to get you through this long, long, long Wednesday? Time to escape to a traditional riad in Marrakesh, Morocco. I’ve lost myself in the tiles and that ceiling, the rugs and the plants. This one might just have to become a real holiday… Riad Jardin Secret.
It’s Wednesday, hump day, the working week half done but still the promise of the weekend is just out of reach. If we can’t escape our everyday humdrum then perhaps we can take a virtual getaway to this simple but oh so stylish holiday home in the sleepy waterside hamlet of Patonga, north of Sydney. Nothing to do but sit back and relax, perhaps a dip in the river followed by a drink on the verandah. It’s about wet swimmers and tyre swings, old boats and the hum of summer insects, good books and good friends. Nothing precious except the memories and the objects d’art strewn about. The dream can be real though. Noojee is available for holiday let via Contemporary Hotels.
Simone Suss of London-based design firm Studio Suss takes the serious out of decor and just has fun. Elegant spaces with unexpected colour pairings, unique furnishings + art + textiles that when combined create an eclectic and visually stimulating experience. And OMG what is that art above?!?! LOVE IT!!!!
Still stalking but in an urban setting. Styill picky. Still finding leftovers. Not quite right, love the bones but ditch the furniture, bad photos, I need more photos please! Can’t quite put my finger on it listings with something that has me nodding “yes”. From warehouses and lofts to extensions to old houses and mansions. Even a house with a devil’s tail. Strange. Very strange. Click on the photos to go to the listings. All via Domain.
