A designer’s family home

Can a family home be seriously sexy? It can if it belongs to interior designer and owner of interiors boutique Pieces, Lee Kleinhelter. Oh my! Sleek contemporary lines with more than a nod to its historical suburb and all with the glamorous, sophisticated vintage vibe that Atlanta, Georgia based Kleinhelter does so well.

It feels a little too impersonal to be a home, although I love the laundry room (laundromat? who has two washers and two dryer?) with that wallpaper. It feels more like a really hip hotel.

Some interesting details but overall, too big, too much for my taste. Très nouveau riche.

I like the circular stepping stones up to the house. Funny, the house reminds me of our pediatrician's office and home in Atlanta—all so white and sterile. Though I really loved her, she was still practicing at age 102 and lived to be nearly 115! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leila_Denmark

Darkwalls, orange cabinet, dark sofa, colour on the dining room chairs, dark bedroom and stairway walls, golden night table, dark bathroom cabintes, dark walk in, yellow bed, yellow curtians and still some people think it is white and sterile. Or remindes of that. LOL
Maybe it is just a lack of clutter?

I loved the exterior and hoped to find light, cool colors inside! Too dark for me but beautiful!
