Relaxing on a rainy Seattle day
– DeniseAnn (Seattle, WA)
And from me: my cats are sun worshippers like me. In the late afternoons on sunny days they can be found in packs huddled in sun beams.
Traditional and minimal where jewel colour pops against wedding cake white, open space replaces a rabbit warren of old rooms and the light, oh the light. K Apartment, a rethinking of an Art Deco apartment by Sydney-based Marston Architects.
I had to share this Victorian townhouse I spotted from the March issue of Homes & Gardens magazine because it’s everything I love all mixed together in one gorgeous package. A restored heritage home with traditional details, a neutral colour palette, mid-century furnishings, vintage glam light fixtures, brass accents throughout, a modern custom kitchen and and an outdoor space make this home pretty much perfection. It’s like I say week after week. If you have to drag your sorry self into work on a weekend it certainly eases the pain if your workplace is kick ass stylin’. At first glance this could be a cooler than cool loft apartment but no it’s definitely an office. Great space in South Pasadena by ETC.etera (etc for short).
I am head over heels in love with this British family home in Barnes and its striking decor. Full of character and drama while a bit on the classic side and pared back. A gorgeous black library complete with black leather chesterfield (*GASP!!!*) and an eclectic mic of vintage and modern furnishings and lighting make this just all kinds of awesome.
