Charming, polished, refreshing, energetic, casual, lasting….these are just a few words I would use to describe the style of New York based designer Matthew Cane.

A sophisticated, minimalist courtyard garden

Simple, clean lined, modern and low maintenance –  doesn’t mean that this small inner city courtyard isn’t a sophisticated urban oasis. Annandale landscape design by Secret Gardens.

So French so fabulous

Oh the French. They have that certain something. Effortless style and sophistication. A little bit rustic with simple luxury, primitive next to midcentury, vibrant colour playing against whitewash. An understanding of what is needed and what is not. Be style my beating heart. Maison des champs, Sainte-Foys-Lès-Lyon by interior stylist Nathalie Rives.

Stylin’ spaces just right until they become totally picture perfect. Love the work of Stockholm based stylist/decorator Linda Åhman. Also totally digging the photo below with the 2 tone wall with a border of photos. What a great idea!

My second minimalist white house for the day. Home as art with vaulted concrete ceilings and clad with aluminium slats referencing the gables of the neighbouring houses. Moving House by Melbourne-based Architects EAT.
