I have always dreamt about having a cabin on a lake somewhere on the outskirts of Ottawa to spend weekends enjoying nature and the quiet of the country life. This cabin may not have much going on in the interior (which is typically what you get from an architect’s portfolio), but it is breathtaking in its simplicity. I would absolutely maintain a minimalist approach with this space and keep the colour palette neutral with some pastel accents. You know, that Scandi vibe. You basically have to with all that pine.
