The East London apartment of interior stylist Laura Fulmine is well….EVERYTHING. Of course it is styled to perfection but OMG the colours! From a deep green to an almost bubblegum pink and midnight blue, along with lots of quirky vintage pieces. I am experiencing severe heart palpitations. Photos: Michael Sinclair
Beáta and her husband have lovingly remodeled and restored this absolutely beautiful 1900s mansion in Hungary. Beáta is an interior decorator and her husband is a contractor so most of what you see was done over the past 10 years by themselves (they even fabricated the iron doors and lamps!). The exposed brick and beams and flooring choices really stand out in this home. Wonderful job Beáta and thank you for sharing with us!
I’m real estate
strolling scrolling in the Sydney suburb of Balmain where I have found an old weatherboard cottage whose historic facade belies the modern family home inside. This may have once been a working class suburb but with time comes gentrification and ever increasing prices. Link here while it lasts.
I have this dream of one day buying a weekender in a cute country town. I’d rent it out as short-term boutique accommodation when I wasn’t there and hope to one day make it my forever home. In my mind it’s always been an old cottage, quirky, a little rustic, steeped in history … until now. Now I want this architect designed modern home that combines old-world aesthetic with a cool contemporary feel. The real estate agent calls it “winter chalet, summer cool.” I’m real estate

Charlap Hyman & Herrero is a Los Angeles / New York-based architecture and design firm that has rendered me smitten. These residential spaces they have designed are each a study in uniqueness and appear art gallery-esque. A triangle shaped bed? Why not?!
