An unconventional Colonial in New Jersey

The family friendly, dynamic and spirited vibe of this home is not quite what you’d expect when the exterior is a conventional Colonial home. I LOVE the unexpected!!!  When the homeowners moved into this 1920’s center hall colonial in Essex Fells, New Jersey, they envisioned a comfortable, livable home where family and friends can kick off their shoes and unwind. The brief: Repurposed rooms, reinvented family heirlooms and a riot of color and pattern equal an unfussy environment that embraces the craziness of life with three young children. Perfectly Imperfect. Designed by Toledo Geller.

wow

Edgar Pretorius says:

Love it. One of my faves but that room with splatter on the ceiling is giving me major ANXIETY!!

Clara says:

Belle maison mais il y a tellement de papier peint dans le décor…
Ouf… c’est «to much»
Par petite touches cela aurait été tellement plus chix et élégant.
Trop c’est comme pas assez…
