Courtnay Tartt Elias of Creative Tonic (based in Houston) is all about colour and pattern and drama. Everyday moments are celebrated, more is splendidly more + unexpected details are waiting to be discovered around every corner. Color is essential to my process. Our world is a vibrant place and, for as long as I can remember, I’ve felt compelled to weave brilliance into my surroundings. I founded Creative Tonic in 2006 with a passion for composing layered environments that invite celebration. With a fearless use of color and decidedly inventive flair… Brilliant living begins here. I am rendered virtually speechless over these breathtakingly beautiful spaces designed by Studio Peregalli. I will simply let you scroll. Prepare to be transported to another time and place… (Photos: Elle Decor – Simon Upton (1, 7, 8, 12), Architectural Digest Germany – Robert Rieger (2-5, 14, 15), Architectural Digest/Condé Nast (6, 10, 11), Galerie – Massimo Listri (7, 9, 13))

Scarlett Gowing‘s East Sussex, 1879 home is loaded with period character and a grandeur that is sooooo alluring. She added in many touches of modern and mid-century to keep the mood light and more current and the resulting eclectic vibe is glorious.

My heart continues to experience palpitations when I find homes with original centuries-old details and a traditional vibe. The character that oozes from the stone walls and old flooring really makes me crave a home with history. Berdoulat is located in Bath (U.K.) and specialise in period buildings and restoration, and these spaces from their portfolio are about to give me a stroke.

Love the cozy, earthy vibes in this home designed by Indiana based designer Whittney Parkinson. And the kitchen is a dream! Traditional architectural details are blended with the contemporary to create a cohesive home for the modern family. WPD blended a neutral foundation with pops of color to enhance the home’s finishes and create depth. Beautiful fabrics mix well with slick metals and warm woods in this eclectic residence.
