An impressive modern art collection + sculptural furniture + pops of colour = an edgy, fun home designed by Brigette Romanek. (Jo posted her glorious home a few years ago here)

Modern farmhouse cottage

Posted on Mon, 30 Mar 2020 by KiM

I love a mix of eras. This farmhouse cottage was given a dash of modern and I love the contrasting styles. By Kelly and Co. Design, this home includes some beautiful art, earth tones throughout and lots of really textured fabrics, particularly linens, that make this casual and cozy.

Connection with nature

Connecting with nature out in the country, with nothing but fields and trees and wildlife as far as the eye can see is just what I could use right about now while stuck at home. How peaceful living here must be, especially at a time like this. This is the home of interior stylist Adeline Maillet and her family, in Lyon, France design by architects Stéphanie and Damien Gallet. Via The Socialite Family.

There was way too much good stuff in Pierce & Ward‘s portfolio to narrow it down to one post. So here is more. You’re welcome. 🙂

Pierce & Ward update – part 1

It has been a while since Jo first featured the work of L.A. and Nashville based designers Louisa Pierce and Emily Ward of Pierce & Ward. This talented duo is still going strong with maximalism and a flourish of colour, pattern and texture. Intriguing layers that make you stop and take in every inch.
