Toby was rescued from a shelter in Austin, Texas and now lives in Dallas. He really likes pillows and poufs and arranges them to his satisfaction whenever possible.

South African design firm Jacket Interiors “marries comfort and functionality with beauty and style in contemporary designs born out of timelessly classic tastes.” A definite flair and restrained elegance, carefully collected and curated, simple, liveable luxury. But perhaps it is the hero of the design, the bold choice of yellow as the statement colour that makes the house so memorable.

Whoa! Real estate in Sydney may be expensive but London prices are stratospheric. OK I admit this 3 bedroom loft apartment is in the Westbourne Terrace area of London but £2,850,000? Ouch! My sympathy goes out to all who must live in the British capital. Thank goodness I’m only virtually stalking and not actually looking for a place to call home. Love the quirky personality of this apartment. The art, the odds and ends. The bathrooms are cool and the glass floor scary. Link here while it lasts. Via Domus Nova.

A random mix of colours, fabrics, patterns and furnishings in this quirky Los Angeles home designed by Zenzi Gadson and Justin Maurice (of Maurice Gadson). That green vinyl material on the dining chairs is so unexpected and totally rad, and I love how they’ve taken a large open-concept area and carved our 4 individual spaces whilst maintaining a level of airiness.

These spaces are so bright and summery. They remind me how much I love sun, warmth and greenery. I wish I could spend every waking moment of summer outdoors. Gawd I resent my office job this time of year. 🙁
