It’s been a tough week for Kim and I must admit I’m happy the weekend is here for me. Time for another virtual holiday. This time I’ve booked a couple of rooms at boutique hotel JK Place, Capri. I’m mesmerised by the ever changing azure hues of the ocean and the blindingly white hotel. Once inside…. sigh. If we can drag ourselves away from our drinks we may even venture into Capri’s famous Blue Grotto. Perhaps another glass first.
Sydney award winning architect Virginia Kerridge is intrigued by how a building interfaces with its external space. Her contemporary designs are characterised by their interplay of materials and textures and a commitment to sustainability.
Interior Designer, author, TV host and producer, keynote speaker, furniture designer, inspiration travel guide and style mentor Kimberley Seldon still has time in her hectic schedule to create these beautifully serene and sophisticated spaces. Elegant, muted palettes are infused with a luxe look. She’s a Canadian design dynamo!
Stunning images from photographer Birgitta Wolfgang Drejer who specializes in interior and lifestyle photography. Her work featuring regularly in Danish and international shelter magazines as well as her own series of books. Birgitta photographs light so beautifully while conveying the mood of a room. I’m blown away by the Scandinavian style she captures through her lens. Her understanding of the meaning of a space is apparent. Love it all! Don’t miss her snow series in her portfolio. Gorgeous.
