Hey Toby I want to see more

I had to share one more look into Brisbane based photographer Toby Scott‘s portfolio. Like fashion blogger Mandy Shadforth’s house for Real Living Magazine. Queensland living at its best captured by one of Queensland’s best.

Hello Toby Scott. Love your work. Your photographs are real, clean, unpretentious but so marvelous and full of wonderful light. I guess the light thing is a given because you’re a Brisbane boy. Sunny Queensland so they say. I can’t remember where I first saw your work – Real Living or Est Magazine or James Russell‘s portfolio. I remember the Ipswich house in Real Living, the houses you’ve shot with Kylie Jackes. Loved them all. Genius. They tell a story and it’s a tale of how and who and why we live in this part of the world.

So many great photographers. So many great photographs. How do we choose? If they speak to the heart, tug at the senses, weave a dream, inspire… then they make the cut. Welcome to the portfolio of L.A. based photographer Noah Webb.

A little bit of country

I am a creature of habit it seems. Mondays are developing a distinct pattern. Mondays are the day I run away to a virtual retreat, escape to a veritable feast for the eyes. I play make believe. This Monday, then, is no different. I’m running away as fast as I can to this little eco cabin in Uruguay I found on the pages of Elle Decor España. Simple, unpretentious and beautiful. Don’t come visit me straight away though. I’m draining the water tank dry in that outdoor shower. I know. Not very eco of me but I am just day dreaming here… and what a lovely daydream.

Eyescream

I scream. You scream. We all scream for ….eyescream? A self service shop in Barcelona selling little monster bowls of Taiwanese shaved ice cream. From product design to branding, graphics and packaging all the way to interior design Estudio m Barcelona has taken what is normally an amorphous mass of sweet goop and introduced a fun taste and visual feast to the passing customers. How cool (pun intended) are those ice cream monsters with their sugar eyes?
