This duplex in Barcelona’s Horta neighbourhood has been beautifully reimagined by Alex March Studio. It’s a thoughtful blend of European design pieces from various eras, harmoniously combined with contemporary ochre and brown hues. The bright rooms exude depth and warmth, amplified by the contrast with pure white elements. The owner, a passionate art and design lover, was drawn to the abundant natural light filtering through the large windows. The fun and eclectic spaces incorporate pieces from the 20s to the 70s along with a growing collection of plants. The two-floor house embraces its original Catalan vaulted ceilings, pine accents and terracotta tiles.

Interior designer Augusta Hoffman‘s chic New York apartment blends modern aesthetics and timeless elegance. Sleek lines and luxurious textures create an inviting and opulent atmosphere. Neutral tones dominate the palette in the living room allowing natural light to bounce about the apartment while deep greens and tobacco tones are a bold choice for other rooms. Situated in a historic Victorian mansion block, this one-bedroom flat boasts stunning vistas of Notting Hill and Kensington. Homeowner and designer Nigel opted to maintain a separate eat-in kitchen and turned to Neptune‘s Suffolk collection to complement the building’s classic aesthetics. A pink and black colour palette is elegant while strategic cabinet choices and lighting solutions amplify the feeling of spaciousness. With a repurposed floor cabinet now a bespoke dresser and an L-shaped seating area under the sash window the kitchen has been transformed into an inviting albeit bijou entertaining haven.

If you thought using at least 10 wallpapers in an apartment would be a sensory overload sort of experience, Studio DB proves in this space in Manhattan that it absolutely is not too much. It adds so much whimsy and mystical vibes, and each space transports you to another world. The renovation of this Asa Norte apartment in Brasília was all about enhancing the social spaces. The empty nesters were downsizing from a larger duplex but still wanted the spaciousness they were accustomed to. The CoDA arquitetura design team embraced this challenge by creating integrated areas that maximize utility. A bedroom was repurposed to enlarge the living room, while the kitchen was reimagined to blend with the social zone seamlessly. Private spaces remained intact, with an expanded ensuite and versatile guest rooms doubling as home offices. The result? A unified, airy space embracing park views.
