Created as the clients’ primary residence, this vast home was conceptualized in its entirety to resonate with the Blanc Marine signature, with the aim of offering the young couple who inhabit it serene, welcoming spaces in their own image. By favoring earthy tones and rich textures, we harmonized their interiors with the nature of the enchanting site in which this home is set.
The bar is already set high when you build a home within the beauty of the Laurentian mountains. But Blanc Marine‘s neutral, earthy and classic style is perfection within the natural setting of this area of Québec. Their style is frankly perfection anywhere. This apartment in the historic Cobble Hill neighorhood belongs to partner, Erin Fearins and has been carefully renovated to include custom millwork and an expertly layered mix of vintage furniture pieces and carefully curated art and antiques.

After six intense years in Manhattan, the owners asked interior and furniture designer Bateaumagne to transform this former artist’s studio hidden in a leafy courtyard in Paris’ 6th arrondissement. They created a spacious loft-style living area on the ground floor, preserving the studio’s artistic essence with modernist walnut woodwork. Upstairs, vibrant mid-century colours define the rooms, while Winkelmans tiles adorn the bathrooms. Their eclectic choices, like the Cameleonda sofa and Verner Panton chairs, resulted in a harmonious and artistic family-friendly space.

Warsaw-based Colombe Studio never ceases to amaze me with their creativity and attention to detail. This kitchen may not be huge or have lots of storage but it’s a work of art and absolutely beautiful. This apartment is giving me somewhat museum vibes but in the best way as it is still inviting but every item and every detail makes such a statement. Photos: Kasia Gatkowska
