I’m really excited to share this home with you today because I absolutely LOVE IT! It’s the Victoria, BC home of Jay & Gord, pimped out by interior designer Kyla Bidgood. This home is modern and fabulous, with a mid-century vibe and some superb wallpapers and accent walls that bring some funk. I must point out the pair of Hans Wegner Teddy Bear chairs – I lust for these – that happen to be originals from Gord’s childhood family cabin that have been spruced up. Seriously? I hate Gord. I couldn’t get enough of Eric Piasecki‘s photos yesterday so here are a few I held back that I fell in love with, and thought they deserved their own post. Especially the one above. I now want a splotchy black wall desperately.

… in the best way. I love this small atelier designed by Parisian designer extraordinaire Sarah Lavoine. To drown in the deep sea blue yet be bouyed by walls of white and rafts of texture. Petite yet packed with style.

Grey days are a drag. Misty rain, cold, nothing to do. I’m bored. Flicking through a favourite international magazine (Livingetc) I spy a familiar name. Hello! I haven’t dropped by Damian Russell‘s website for quite some time. I was not disappointed. I’ve called him a pied piper of photography. I have followed him through many a house through his lens. A weaver of dreams, a story teller and a great big tease. Tempt me with beautiful photos of beautiful rooms on this grey, grey day will you Mr Russell? Oh alright if you must!
