It’s fun, fresh, quirky, spirited, confident and trend-setting. It’s mad. It shouldn’t work. It’s a triumph. “Home and Away” by in my opinion the most exciting Australian interior designer Yasmine Saleh Ghoniem of YSG.

Stately homes, refined and elegant. These are the domain of Madrid-based interior designer Lucía Gómez-Acebo.  Think classicism, antiques, a restrained colour palette and beautiful finishes. Whether high street or the designer’s take on rustic living, homes embrace elegance, style, comfort and luxury.

“A grand heritage home was transformed combining vintage and contemporary signature pieces from Australian and international designers, resulting in a showcase home that whilst exciting and arresting is still comfortable and inviting. An eclectic collection of furniture fittings and finishes was curated to produce a stunning result.”

The designer Christian Lyon calls this project Another World. Another world indeed. I’m transported to a land of luxury and style. A chic and sophisticated home in my dreams.

It’s like I say week in week out. If you have to drag yourself into work on a weekend it helps if it’s somewhere stylish just like Romanek Design Studio‘s own workspace.

Just one look at this North Bondi beach house by Kate Pulsford of Villa Interior Design and it feels like summer. Seamless indoor outdoor rooms, casual but sophisticated family living and beautiful light flooding in.
