Can it be love at first sight? Can I be so smitten with a home? Let’s just take a moment to take it all in. A loft. Tick. In New York. Goes without saying. Exposed brick walls. Also another given but then a light infused, dreamy interior that mixes industrial with boho, modern with artisan? Swoon. This stunner of an apartment is located on the ground floor of a Haussmannian building at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. Could this setting BE MORE PERFECT?! Designed again by d.mesure, many items were sourced from Paris flea markets, adding to this apartment’s rustic, vintage vibe. (The thought of being able to visit Paris flea markets gives me heart palpitations – I’d need a shipping container!)

Just as our first white house celebrated it’s stylish simplicity so does this contemporary house on Sydney’s northern beaches. Even though it doesn’t sit in a field of waving grasses tree tops and expansive blue sky are captured through a feature celestory window. Frederick Tang Architecture is an architecture and design practice located in Gowanus, Brooklyn. While they have worked on a wide variety of projects, their attention to detail and function is always evident. I could not pick a favourite project so here are glimpses from several of them.
