“Each room evokes a feeling of a detailed collector – through vintage rugs, antique furniture, decorative objects and, of course, art. The entirety of space is elevated, interesting and also comfortable. This house is a true color story that ebbs and flows with a harmonious blend of quiet and bold moments, casual spaces and also subtle notes of formality. The end result is an unexpected, complex and layered home, much like the art it is serving to frame.”
The family home of the founder of Framebridge by Zoë Feldman Design not only showcases the art (in Framebridge frames of course) but the marriage of old and new resulting in stylish modern living with more than a touch of fun.

Working with interior designer Audhild Samseth from Nordic Sense, Ask og Eng a Norwegian sustainable kitchen and furniture studio designed then made the kitchen for her new townhouse located in Palma, Spain. Beautifully simple yet carefully crafted, bespoke and made of sustainable bamboo. What more could you ask?

Absolutely loving the European modern vibes in this Nebraska lake house designed by Light and Dwell. The exterior is has many dark elements which adds so much character, and when you walk in it’s very white and bright, but turn the corner into the kitchen and WHAM, it’s a mostly black kitchen that is so fabulously dramatic. I am OBSESSED. I cannot stand white kitchens so this is a dream. Other mostly black spaces tie all the black together and keep that flow. LOVE. Photography: Amy Bartlam

An old potter’s studio converted into a one bedroom cabin tucked into the Bundjalung Byron Bay hinterland by We Are Triibe is the perfect getaway for the firm’s co-founder Jessica d’Abadie and her small family. A simple yet stylish space surrounded by lush growth, a welcoming oasis of calm.

Neutral doesn’t mean flat and boring. No not at all as this Santa Barbara Spanish Mission style house by Joyce Downing Pickens of JDP Interiors cleverly illustrates. Texture is the hero as is the use of light and shadow. A mix of old and new brings depth and style.
