This 1901 Hoboken, New Jersey brownstone needed a revamp and designer Hollie Velten was up for the challenge. The homeowners desired a thoughtful fusion of function and feeling. Madrid-based María Santos of Estudio Maria Santos has a sharp eye for detail and design integrity. Her work blends natural materials, expert space planning and refined composition. This project was fully reimagined while preserving the original features. Known for understated elegance and thoughtful eclecticism, her light-filled, functional interiors carry a distinct identity, crafted with care, precision and an unmistakable personal touch.

Designer Palmer Weiss and architect Charlie Barnett joined forces to replace an abandoned barn with a vacation home/compound that is part English country, part Scandinavian chic, and part American hunting lodge.
