I consider Rita Konig an interior design icon and since it’s been a quite some time since I featured her (there was this post back in 2014, and this one a couple years ago) I thought I would share a smattering of photos from her portfolio. Love her style so much.

Absolutely love the maximalist, global, eclectic vibe of this Mallorcan townhouse by Anavida Interiors. So much eye candy I could spend hours devouring every inch of this home.

Don’t let its staid Georgian facade fool you. Inside the Grade II-listed townhouse in Camberwell is a maximalist’s dream. Five floors of colour and art, antiques and mid century classics. Everywhere you look is inspiration and we haven’t even ventured into the garden yet. Unfortunately for us, it is sold but I found it through  Inigo an estate agency for Britain’s most marvellous historic homes, from the team behind The Modern House.

I am completely mesmerized by the photo above. Enjoy it and many other spaces by British designer Gavin Houghton – known for his bold combinations of both the modern and what is a quintessentially English layered style. Creating for clients’ practical houses that are clever and individual, yet soft, romantic with real charm.

Opulent, elegant, sophisticated and refined. Not to everyone’s taste but there’s an other-worldy quality to Alidad‘s spaces that provide an escape to the everyday.
