Colour blocking in a Moscow apartment

Posted on Wed, 13 Nov 2019 by KiM

For an architecture and design firm that typically only creates spaces in black, white and grey, this 80 sq m apartment in Moscow was quite a departure. A.T.Ø (Architecture Technology Objects) Studio went a little crazy with red, pink, green and blue in this project and I’m digging the outcome. It is as bold as they come, and alot of fun.

This 5 story Park Slope, New York townhouse is perfectly eclectic. There a bit of mid-century, Scandinavian, art deco, bohemian…I love a good mash-up! Stunning from top to bottom. Designed by Damon Liss.

A modern loft with classical decor

Posted on Tue, 5 Nov 2019 by KiM

What do you get when you pair a modern white loft in Seville, Spain with a designer who has a passion for 17th to 19th century decor? An unexpected clash of styles that is quite dramatic. By Amaro Sánchez de Moya.

I spotted this home on AD Russia and it stopped me in my tracks. Ukrainian architect Sergey Makhno built this home for his family, to showcase his love of Ukranian and Japanese design, and his incredible ceramic collection. Each room is more incredible than the next. I adore this.
