A master suite by Gisele Taranto

Posted on Thu, 14 Jan 2016 by KiM

This master suite is what Gisele Taranto came up with for Casa Cor 2013. The space was designed for a couple who value intimacy and privacy, and is therefore TV-less! It brings together the indoors and outdoors with floor to ceiling glass dorrs between the bedroom and terrace, and a skylight above the shower area. This is a dreamy bedroom suite, whose bathroom alone is larger than my bedroom. *sigh* (More of Gisele’s work can be found here and here)

Kevin Dumais – TriBeCa

Posted on Wed, 13 Jan 2016 by KiM

Interior designer Kevin Dumais continues to wow me with his cool, contemporary spaces that have just the right amount of funky and modern touches. This TriBeCa apartment he designed for a family is so stylish and timeless. And OMG that bench/storage unit in the entryway would be a dream come true. (architect: Ben Herzog, photos: Joshua McHugh)

More beach

Posted on Tue, 12 Jan 2016 by KiM

In keeping with my beach theme for today, and because last night I booked my annual flight to Puerto Vallarta to get my arse to a beach instead of knee-deep in snow, here is another glimpse into a Chango & Co. project. This one is an East Hampton beach cottage with some beautiful shades of blue. (Photos: Ball & Albanese)
