Montreal based interior design firm Gestion René Desjardins is all about sleek, modern spaces. It is clean lines but super comfy and loungey furnishings paired with some of the coolest photography art I have ever seen. (Love the bears!)

Is it possible to fall in love with a powder room? A bedroom yes. A kitchen definitely but a small room with a toilet and a sink? You bet! Hawthorne House by AM Architecture.

I really miss having a dark painted bedroom. It so soothing and cocooning. My pale pink walls just aren’t doing it for me anymore. If I am ever bored, there is a project I could tackle. I would also have to buy linen bedding though – so gorgeous! And maybe art featuring some guy in a space suit. Photos via Seth Smoot

It’s a rainy, miserable day here in Ottawa – but at least it’s not snowing! I needed a little something to brighten my mood. I think these beautiful spaces captured so perfectly by photographer Seth Smoot ought to do the trick. (We featured Seth last year as well).

It was a loooooooong, exhausting weekend (more on that later in the week when I go through my photos from the Ottawa Antique Show), and I need a day to recuperate. Since that is not going to happen I need a dose of interior eye candy to get me through the day. Petra Bindel is one of my favourite photographers, so this should do the trick. 🙂
