When you read this, I will hopefully have landed safe and sound, on time and with my suitcase in Puerto Vallarta to enjoy some weather that is not snowy, not icey, not -35. A place where my blog posts for 2 weeks are already done, where the day job can wait, where stray cats will not become my responsibility. Where beaches and sand and sun and drinks and amazing food can be enjoyed and I can get my tan on. In order for you to enjoy a bit of pleasure along with me, here are some random photos I came across that tickled my fancy. I hope they tickle something of yours. 🙂

It has been one of the longest weeks EVER, and I am grateful it is finally over because next week starts my badly needed vacation south! To end off the day, I wanted to share some fantastic interior photography by Mario C Melillo of Montreal. Happy Friday!

There is something so dramatic about London based interior stylist Holly Bruce‘s work. Rich, deep colour. Dramatic. Perhaps not something to transfer directly to your living room or bedroom but oh the daydreams and schemes I am cooking up with my head full of Holly’s ideas.

Yanic Simard, principal of Toronto Interior Design Group, designs spaces for folks who like a little sass and a little brass. There’s something graphic, something shiny, something furry, something bright, something reflective in every space, making for some serious eye candy in styles ranging from modern to traditional. Coming up later – Yanic’s own newly renovated kitchen.

The world is so hectic. Life is crashing from problem to solution and back again. The pure serenity of this house in Biniaraix, Mallorca is like a salve. Restrained, beautifully curated, with a simplicity of line, palette and finish. Understated luxury. Renovation and extention by Gabriel Santos.
