Love the saturated colour. Love the faded elegance. Love the portfolio of stylist Louise Bickle. Actually more than stylist… design + styling + production + events. Cosy rumpled afternoons. Tea and flowers, dogs and daybeds, life in a slower lane. She makes you dream doesn’t she?

TGIF folks!!! Hope you all have a much more interesting weekend planned than I do. Mine involves some drywall sanding, painting, selling some of my junk, and helping Jeff begin the move of his crap stuff into my house. (I have already threatened him that he had better take the time and go through all his stuff and GET RID of what is garbage and useless because there is NO ROOM in my house!) You know how guys move though, tip a drawer into a box and VOILA! Chicks love that. Anyhoo, I leave you with some more fantabulous photos from my new favourite site, du côté de chez vous.

End the week with bang… actually an encore performance from photographer Damian Russell. Light, colour, drama, wow factor. I’ve laxed lyrical over Damian’s work before but I can’t help myself.

A new week here on DTI. A new week with so much promise. Let’s start with a photographer with a stellar portfolio. Alexander van Berge takes a space and captures its personality. These are not stilted “architectural” photographs. They explore the “life” and the beauty of the room. Owners have just moved out of shot and van Berge invites us into the space. So much to love in these rooms.

Sometimes a portfolio leaves you breathless. Sometimes it is just so fabulous you stamp your feet under your computer and whisper “yes” “yes” “yes”. Peter Fehrentz is a German stylist and set designer. Peter Fehrentz is my new crush. Don’t let these first few looks fool you. You’ll find that Peter is the master of many styles but always fresh, always inspiring and very now.
