I have a stalking partner this week and her name is Stacey. She lives just around the corner from this Melbourne home and thought we should drop in for an uninvited visit. Here’s the link. Interior designers are Atticus & Milo but unfortunately the website is still under construction. As for the house it’s a light filled confection of designer touches. I’d love to see this shot professionally. So many vignettes screaming to be captured in all their glory. Thanks Stacey!

• The clock I can’t see by sonodesign. Designed by a colour-blind designer, this clock is based on colour-blindness test wheels. Take a closer look. See numbers hidden in amongst the spots? Well I hope you can.



• Story Mann – builder, furniture designer. He has an eye for the beauty in the simple and functional and the talent to translate this understanding into inspirational furniture. Simply stunning!



• From wood to now plastic. The Mi chair designed by Giovanni Pagnotta. Available
  in ultra white, orange glo, dark graphite and hyper green, it is made of 100% recyclable thermoplastic polymer. It’s liquid lines strangely entice me to stroke it.

I recently heard about colorTHEORY, a residential and commercial interior styling company servicing the Boston area. Interior designers Brad Dufton and Benjamin Scott provide clients their expertise with color consultations, skilled painting, hanging wallpaper and selecting home furnishings. They are bold with colour and wallpaper patterns and I love that. I also love that they emphasize architectural details (ie. gorgeous moldings) using daring, stand-out colours that are so much more interesting than white.

An eye for beauty? A passion for architecture? A goddamn great talent. Australian photographer Tom Evangelidis has gone from fashion shoots to interior design spreads. Love his use of light, his appreciation of colour. Check out his Hermitage project when you’re on his website. Photographer as painter. Love it.
