Amanda Martocchio Architecture and Design is a firm based in New Canaan, CT that embraces sustainable design and new technologies. Amanda’s designs are classic and very much timeless, with modern touches to keep the spaces current. Perfection I’d call it….in particular some of the bathrooms featured below. (I’ve already saved them to my inspiration file for my future bathroom renos).

Lili Diallo is one of my favourite prop stylists. Her home was featured in Domino magazine last year and in a recent issue of Living Etc., and it has such an eclectic, comfortable and funky vibe. Her website is filled with so much eye candy and lots of cool pairings to take note of.

I have a serious obsession with the colour grey, and when I found the portfolio of Parisian architect and interior designer Robert Gervais, I was in heaven. Grey walls, grey floors, grey doors….OH MY. There is other good stuff too but I keep coming back to the grey. In period homes like this, it’s a magical colour and makes a beautiful backdrop for interesting architecture and furnishings.

Julien Oppenheim is an extraordinary young photographer from Paris, whose photos draw you in regardless of their subjects. They have such an aura of mystery and intrigue, which is heightened by quirkiness of many of the spaces in his portfolio. I think quirkiness is essential in design to heighten the level of interest. Makes for endearing spaces and subsequently, gorgeous photos.
