Thank you Real Living

…see more here

Just out in this month’s Real Living magazine (my favourite and I’m not just saying that because they love us) is a fab four page spread on 14 websites that will change the way you live. And we’re in it! YAY! We are so honoured as we share the list with blogs such as Apartment Therapy, design*sponge, Poppytalk and Bloesem. OK I’ve blown our trumpet. Now back to having a few days off while Kim posts 😉

P.S. This month’s issue is smoking hot! Don’t miss it.

My favourite living rooms of ’08 – part 2

Posted on Mon, 29 Dec 2008 by KiM

I will be posting over the next few days my favourite photos of the year, by room type. The living rooms from this year (and by this year I mean that I’ve saved on Flickr after Jan 1 ’08) that have inspired me are below – half of them anyway, as I found too many for just one post. This is part 2.

I was going to say which one of the bunch really turns my crank but there’s something in each one that I adore, like grey paint, photography as art, patchwork sofas, glossy sky blue floors, mid-century/hollywood regency vibes, bare light bulbs, coffee tables made of thick pieces of timber…

Curl up in your peacock chairs kiddies. It’s time for part 3 of the Desire to Inspire reading guide. Exhausted yet? There is never too much of a good thing. Just think of it as blog “exercise” to work off all that christmas cheer. Alright lets get surfing!

Holiday Reading Part 2

I hope you saved room for more blogs. Pull up a comfy chair and click on through to the second part of Desire to Inspire’s Holiday reading guide. I love this time of year especially compiling these lists. You see I’m a secret blog lurker and I bookmark so many I just have to share. Enjoy!
