Mark Christofi has been designing interiors for over 25 years and began his own firm (Mark Christofi Interiors) in 1995. He has “a fresh style that juxtaposes traditional and classical elements with unexpected contemporary accents”. Bold, a little off-the-wall whimsical and eclectic is what I make of the following photos from his portfolio…including one of the wackiest wall graphic paint techniques I’ve ever seen.

I happened across Miles Redd’s website recently and realized, much to my astonishment, that we have never done a post on this brilliant designer. Forget brilliant, he’s a design GENIUS. The KING of vignettes. I don’t even know what to say….just have a look below at some of my favourite photos from his portfolio because they speak for themselves. And they speak loudly.

Jed Johnson Associates is a highly recognized interior design firm who’s work has been published in countless design magazines and books. Their portfolio is stunning, and includes mostly traditional designs with impeccable attention to detail. I love how artwork plays an important role in their designs. (It seems designer Mark Cutler fancies their work as well).

Not to be mistaken with the guru of style in the 60s, 70s and 80s the other David Hicks is a Melbourne based designer of equally luxurious spaces. The monochromatic palette, iconic furniture and the finest finishes add an elegance to these beautiful spaces. His boutique size practice focuses on his chosen clientele and the quality of the designs has seen his rooms featured in leading shelter magazines and books around the world. Masterful!

Sylvie Becquet is another photographer I discovered in my internet travels. The photos on her website have such a wonderful simplicity to them, which draws your attention to the details of the objects featured and the quality of lighting in each photo.
