New from Carl Dahlstedt

Posted on Mon, 8 Jul 2013 by KiM

It’s been far too long since I blogged the fabulousness that is the photography of Stockholm’s Carl Dahlstedt. These photos are just so real, and such beautiful glimpses into people’s personal spaces. That’s it too – they feel so personal. I much prefer that to overly staged and predictable.
P.S. Sorry for those looking for the pets on furniture feature – I didn’t receive enough entries this past week for a post. It should be back next week!

Teri Lyn Fisher‘s photos are always a great pick-me-up (they were back here) and I know I could use a dose of loveliness today after a 4 day long weekend. It’s always hard to go back to the day job after some time off. Not that I ever really have time off….

I believe you can tell when a photographer has a strong sense of place, an understanding of architecture, an appreciation of the beauty of a room. It shows. In the pictures. a certain something. Images come to life. Simple things are suddenly special. Light weaves magic and a two dimensional image tells a story. welcome to the portfolio of photographer David A. Land.

Trumpeting Tondro

You’ve seen his work everywhere. Name a leading shelter magazine and his photos have graced their pages. US, Europe, here in Australia. If it’s all about being on top of good design then you can guarantee that Trevor Tondro‘s photos will be the ones that take you there. I’ve featured his work before. Kim’s a huge fan too. But then again aren’t we all? Drum roll please….
