Be still my heart. This 15th century manor home in the countryside of Normandy, called La Carlière, is home to British fashion designer Peter Copping and his French husband Rambert Rigaud. The 6 year renovation of this spectacular home transformed it into a liveable, comfortable home that is an absolute dream. Villa Magnan in Biarritz

Posted on Sun, 26 Sep 2021 by KiM

Built in the centre of Biarritz between 1927 to 1931, Villa Magnan was only ever inhabited from 1931 to 1936 by Spanish aristocrats. It then lay empty for 80 years until current owners Anne and Jérôme Israël purchased and restored it over the course of one and a half years. Its 1,400 m2 of art deco mostly pink beauty is absolutely spectacular, and you can book a stay via their Instagram account. What a dream!!! This stunning property owned in the small town of Noto, in the south of Sicily is 330 sq m with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and is owned and designed by Jacques Garcia and available to rent. The Maison des Oliviers, located on a World Heritage site, is surrounded by numerous olive trees dating back two thousand years. The Villa, surrounded in this landscape, evokes the golden age in the 1950’s Café Society and an aristocracy which embraced modernity while remaining linked to the past. Upon entering the villa, the collection of art and objects will transport you into the culture of the 20th century. One can imagine seeing Maria Callas chatting with Jackie Kennedy, being hosted by Gianni Agnelli.

Austin in Stereo is a 7,300 sq ft, 4 bedroom home in West Austin where nearly every room of the house was designed by Fern Santini with a unique art or music-themed element. A bar, turntable, Sonos speakers, signed photos of music legends, Woodstock wallpaper, lots of dark walls and graphic patterns make this a really stylin’ and party-ready home.
