It’s been far too long since I blogged the fabulousness that is the photography of Stockholm’s Carl Dahlstedt. These photos are just so real, and such beautiful glimpses into people’s personal spaces. That’s it too – they feel so personal. I much prefer that to overly staged and predictable.
P.S. Sorry for those looking for the pets on furniture feature – I didn’t receive enough entries this past week for a post. It should be back next week!

Photographer Laura Moss has captured my imagination. Her shots are full of beautiful light, unusual angles, clever composition and a little bit of honesty in a photoshopped world. Do I spy a lamp cord front and centre for all to see? So that’s how they turn it on 😉

Britboho. Britbrash. Britquirk. Brittattered. Britstyle. Homes with personality. Homes that don’t take themselves seriously. Homes that look great with kids in them and the remains of last night’s boozy dinner with friends left uncleared on the table. Dogs and rambling gardens and wellies and knocks and dings and tarnish and way too much dusting and layers and layers of memories and family treasures. I love Britboho. I love this East Sussex home from locations firm Wilde & Watson. From the front door to the back paddock…. imperfectly perfect.

Yes folks, it appears to be new magazine issue season. One of my online favourites (ok, I seem to have alot of favourites) is Heart Home magazine from the UK and their summer issue is coming online Thursday. They sent over some big juicy photos for me to share with you all as a little preview. Enjoy!

A sweet dream, an escape, a wish and a wonder. Welcome to Ellis House, the country retreat of Aussie bedding queen Tracie Ellis. The Creative Director of AURA has fashioned a beautiful weekend escape at Kyneton in regional Victoria. Oh my! Oh my! You can rent it out! I would be in residence every other weekend if I lived close by. Moody, overflowing with country charm (and AURA homewares) and just fabulous! But of course. You wouldn’t expect anything else from Tracie.
P.S. The amazing photography is by Sharyn Cairns.
