I have a proposition. Weekends should become weekdays and weekdays become one long weekend. And where would you find me if it was now the beginning of the weekend and not the work week? Why getting away from the rat race and heading to this cute as a button cottage in the Victorian spa town of Daylesford. The Weekender is the family getaway of interior designer Suzanne Cunningham of One Girl Interiors but we can rent it out for an escape as well. Now that’s the perfect plan of action for a Monday don’t you think?

I get really excited when I come across a home with lots of character, where period details have been maintained. This 2 bedroom flat situated on the first and second floors of a traditional terraced house in Newington Green, north London is the home of designer Abigail Edwards, and several of her beautiful wallpapers and fabrics are featured throughout. Set against a backdrop of old wood floors, exposed brick and large windows, this definitively got me excited. Available as a location home through Shoot Factory.
It’s like I say time and again. If you have to drag your sorry self into work on a Saturday then it certainly helps if it’s somewhere stylish. Like the warehouse offices of Crosspoint Telecommunications by Sydney and Byron Bay-based Sarah Jayne Studios. Best part? You wouldn’t have to go if you lived in the first floor convertible apartment space and used the slide.
Last month Jo featured a beautiful kitchen by Hannah Crowell of Nashville-based Crowell + Co. Interiors. Hannah’s style is so easy-going, bright and fun that I thought I would share a random assortment of her designs today. Eye candy for your Friday. Happy weekend!
