Today was a good day. Today was a “gasp” day because today I found Michael Crockett’s portfolio. Doesn’t take much to keep me happy… just a stellar batch of pictures of amazing homes captured by a photographer who has the gift, the god given talent, the eye. Oh my oh my oh my has this guy got the eye. Fabulous! This is just a taste of what awaits you at his website.

Brian Andriola

Brian Andriola is a wonderful stylist who has a very cheerful portfolio that I fell in love with for a couple of reasons. First, he has strategically placed a dog in several of the photos which just warms my heart. Second, he’s got several Christmas photos that has gotten me in the spirit to hurry and get the kitchen done so I can start thinking about the holidays (and perhaps start baking?).

“Life’s too short for an all-beige room”

Words to live by from interior designer John Willey. Makes complete sense when you get a glimpse of his work. He is probably one of the boldest designers I have come across. Such creativity with colours and patterns and such a sense of comfort. Very inspiring for those who believe in beige.

Cath Muscat

Sydney photographer Cath Muscat understands light. She captures it and plays with it and produces images at times earthy and sultry at others crisp and clean. Australian readers will know her work from local magazines such as Vogue Entertaining + Travel. Take the time to view her other portfolios. The flowers you can smell, the food is delish and her portraits are powerful with character.
