If you would like to participate in the Monday’s pets on furniture series please send photos, your name, location and a brief description to kim[@]desiretoinspire[.]net. Thanks!
For your lovely Monday’s pets on furniture series: these are Lajka, our 1 year old mixed breed rescue dog lounging on the garden sofa, and Polka, our 6 year old British Shorthair under furniture, and doing some thinking on the cool bathroom floor.

A photo of my cat Gary (9) chilling on the coffee table!
– Nicola (New Zealand)
This is my Australian Shepherd, Huck. We live in Dallas, Texas, USA. Huck’s favorite pastimes include chasing squirrels and barking at postal workers.

Eli has a hard time sharing

And some from me. Feral kitty Georgie spends most of her time hiding out in the basement (so sad) but when the husband and I spent a few hours down there over the weekend organizing our junk, she snuck upstairs and spent the rest of the afternoon sunning herself in the living room. Then I found Bernie (not so feral now!) snoozing on the sofa (first time I caught him up there). Friday I left work early with stomach troubles, and I had company the entire time from my spot on the sofa (Lucky and Bernie).

loving your dark walls too. 🙂
Jared Hayden says:
This feature just keeps getting better. Does that first cat have an agent? He/she's got "it".
Trina Dubya says:
Polka and Gary are gorgeous.
The last photo of your feral cats gave me the giggles, so thanks for that!
This blog is a reason to actually look forward to Mondays, so thank you for that, too.
Ruth says:
I echo Trina's comments. Pets on Furniture makes Monday laughable. Judit's home looks like a great place to be happy. Eli absolutely cracked me up. Feral kitties look substantially ensconced in domestic bliss.

Last photo made my evening! Polka is a top model and Nicola is zen pure.
Tina says:
All the pets are gorgeous as usual, but seriously – Polka!! That photo on the bathroom floor!! And Kim, I don't know why you still keep calling them "ferals". They just seem to be part of the herd now!
KiM says:
I can say that Bernie is no longer feral. I just hope one day he'll let me pick him up (no way will I try now) and I'll be able to clip his nails. Other than that he is pretty chill. The other 2 spend most of their time in the basement hiding, so that's not good, and Frankie still hates being touched, but he spends way more time upstairs than Georgie. So those 2 still need a lot of work.
