I think if all we featured were Parisian flats, the world would be a better place. LOL! Here is yet another beauty located in this heavenly French city designed by Spanish interior designer Isabel López-Quesada. A pied-à-terre for the homeowners who clearly have a thing for modern art and Isabel has given it a funky boutique hotel feel. This has me feeling all the feels for that mustard yellow carpet in the living room. So simple yet it is the perfect dose of bold colour. (Photos: Ricardo Labougle)

I am totally in love with the unique, sometimes quirky style of Dallas, Texas-based interior designer Janet Gridley. She seems to be able to pull off a variety of styles and each space is absolutely gorgeous. She can even spell out words on a wall in painters tape and make it look fabulous.
Sometimes I dream I live in a palazzo in Milan with faded frescoes on the walls and beautiful old wooden floors. There are towering windows with heavy shutters and imposing fireplaces to keep the chill at bay. Placed carefully throughout the sprawling rooms are not so much pieces of furniture but furniture as art. I dream I can live in minimal luxury, immersed in restrained beauty. If my dream came to life it might just look like this private residence by Vincenzo De Cotiis … well a girl can dream can’t she?
It’s a new, squeaky clean working week and I ‘m marking the occasion with the perfect spot to get squeaky clean yourself. It’s this fabulous bathroom by Jaclyn Peters Design. Love the modern meets retro feel with on trend black fittings and clean lined wooden vanities paired with those amazing 50s inspired sconces and the little hairpin legged stool. Love the beautiful light streaming in and the subtle luxury of marble tiles. You can see more Jaclyn’s work here.
Warm, neutral tones and wood are the theme in this apartment located 50 meters from Espinho beach in the city of Aveiro, Portugal. It is the home of artist Ana Morais and her work in macramé is no surprise given the earthy vibe of her home. Live what you love. 🙂 As featured on Histórias de Casa with photos by Alessandro Guimarães.
