Leaving Philly today is tough… my 3 closest friends all live on the east coast which makes me the lone duck holding it down on the best coast. Early this morning I was having a dream about helping someone set up a pin up pop up shop in the middle of the road (FYI, bad idea), when I was woken by banging on the door. In my mind (it was still pitch black) it was the middle of the night and must be the police with bad news (always with the catastrophes). Turns out it was nearly 6.00 and it was a courier who was faced with a very alarmed and drowsy, mad haired woman. Luckily I didn’t call him “officer” – I don’t think 😂. I suspect my high alert might be because I’m finally watching season 2 of The Handmaids Tale 😫. Every episode you think it can’t get grimmer but of course it does. The house may be in chaos but my little diva will always find the prettiest spot to perch. 💕🐆💕 Here, Meisha is modelling her 5-year birthday present (can’t believe my baby is already 5!) – a gorgeous pale pink leather breakaway collar kindly gifted to me by the lovely folks at @cheshireandwain 💕. They make gorgeous luxury products for your precious kitties – it even has her name embossed in gold foil! 😍 Well, Meisha has become accustomed to a certain standard of living after all. Spoiled rotten. 😉 I always say when I die, I’d like to come back as a cat with a doting owner. 😂 What a life, eh? 😸 AD PS. Of course, our other kitty Pablo got his own personalised collar as well – in a beautiful butter yellow. He wasn’t as keen to model for me, however. Meisha, on the other hand, loves being the centre of attention. We lost our sweet greyhound boy, Rocky in May and soon after, adopted this boy West Wise. West is another recently retired racing, barely-three-year-old, greyhound.  I almost didn’t see West when I turned on the light to go to bed one night.  Camouflage almost worked!
