I started the week by wishing we could run away to a luxury hotel in Thailand. At the end of the week I’m taking us to Morocco, to Mouassine, the oldest and most traditional Marrakech neighbourhood, to the hidden jewel that is Riad Snan13. Light, white, an oasis of calm in the bustling city. All we have to do is decide what room we want. I’m a bit taken by those teapot lights.

I was going to string along some totally inadequate descriptions which included words like fabulous and amazing but I don’t have to. The designer’s own description and the photos tell it all. The only thing I would like to add is WOW! Larkspur Hilltop by Nicole Hollis.

One of my IG friends, the lovely Katie Saro, managed to score a really REALLY cheap Vladimir Kagan sofa. Maybe I hate her now. And then while I was sharing it in my IG stories and blogging last night I spotted this home with a Kagan sofa and figured it was fate and I should share the Kagan sofa love. This is Summitridge by Marmol Radziner. The Summitridge interiors are modern and feminine with strong mid-century modern European influences. We selected a primarily neutral color palette of cream, ivory, blush, and violet tones. Soft curves abound, from the mid-century Vladimir Kagan Serpentine sofa and custom Marmol Radziner round parchment coffee table in the living room to the Pierre Paulin mushroom chairs and ottomans in the family room.

I’m not sure which I love more, British Victorians or Brooklyn-style townhomes. Why decide? I can’t have either because these do no exist in any way, shape, or form here in Ottawa but I will continue to share these gems because I can’t be stopped! This townhouse on Delancey Street in Philadelphia has details that make me swoon. Just the foyer alone is a stunner. Designer Ashli Mizell turned this home into something magazine worthy with so much class and personality. The kitchen and main bathroom are to die for!

I could not resist. I had to share the second pop-up exhibition Blue House by Louisa Grey of House of Grey  An eclectic loft set in a converted Methodist congregation hall was transformed last September into gallery space for pieces by Dirk Van Der Kooij, Paustian, Muller Van Severen for valarie_objects, Sabine Marcelis, Dinosaur Designs, Beton Brut and Atelier Areti among others.
