Cottage style

Posted on Wed, 27 Nov 2019 by KiM

I had to share another country home with you by Leanne Ford because lawd half mursey she does country so very VERY well. Rustic, chic and always a bit of an edge that you would expect from Leanne – throwing some black in there for drama and contrast.

A legit country farmhouse

This farmhouse in the country is so beautiful I just want to melt into each photo. Designed by the great Leanne Ford, it’s simple in all white and caramel colours – very much neutral and soothing.

Mid Century Modern

Posted on Tue, 26 Nov 2019 by midcenturyjo

Interior designer and stylist Simone Haag thinks of a house as a blank page on which to write a story and if that’s the case then she has penned a tale of love and warmth using texture and subtle colour, carefully collected furniture and objets d’art when she designed the renovation of her own family home. It may not be large in size but it is certainly big on style, retaining its mid century roots, celebrating retro riffs all while embracing modern living. I think I’m in love … with the house, with the house!

I love those emails that pop into your inbox bearing gifts. No not offers of sponsored posts or products to review. I love those emails that readers send of amazing homes they’ve found on their own real estate adventures, little gifts from kindred spirits. This hidden gem is a stables conversion in the Melbourne suburb of Albert Park. Metres from the sea it is the über stylish home of interior designer Jane Charlwood.  Think soaring voids, rafters and exposed brick feature walls, beautiful furniture and standout art. Even better think lush gardens, inviting alfresco areas and all of it wrapped up in rambling ivy. It’s going to auction but with a price guide of over $7 million most of us will only be dreaming but oh the lovely dreams! Link here while it lasts.

Spaces by Valentin Loellmann

I strive to find unique spaces to share on this blog of ours because I feel like the design world can be over-saturated with the same styles. Trends are not my thing. When I came across creator and designer Valentin Loellman, from Maastricht, The Netherlands, I was very much intrigued by his vision. The first series of photos I’m sharing are of his studio’s loft. Dear gawd, is this what heaven looks like?!

The following photos are randomly selected from some other spaces Valentin has designed that caught my eye.
