Chai decided to check out our master bedroom nightstand lights since Matcha told him they were awesome (the post of her in this same spot is a little while back in my feed) and he says they’re pretty cool but he’s really just here for the wreath. Anytime I go up here he likes to sneak in and lounge on our bed next to his beloved wheat wreath. Even though we have cat allergies, I don’t worry too much if the cats jump on the bed because we cover it with this lightweight quilt that protects our duvet from cat hair. Also, a fun tip for anyone who has a 2-drawer nightstand like us — we drilled a little hole in the back of them and attached a power bar to the side of the bottom drawer so it turns that drawer in to a “charging station” and keeps all the wires hidden! — Shop your screenshot of this pic for sources & similar items with the LIKEtoKNOW.it app. http://liketk.it/2EYYv . . Monday be hitting me like WHAM 🤜⁣ ⁣ Just back from a gorgeous week sitting by the pool in Zante and the house and my head are totally upside down. ⁣ ⁣ With the new arrival coming in January, I’m understandably on a bit of a mission to get the house ready. But turning one bedroom into a nursery has somehow morphed into redecorating THREE bedrooms instead. How does this happen 🤯 ⁣ ⁣ We’re having some wardrobes built in the master bedroom to house all my crap from the middle bedroom so the middle bedroom can become the baby’s bedroom. And just for fun I decided hey we really should sort out the guest bedroom too because it’s been years since it was painted, it got pretty battered when we had the loft converted and I’m obviously an absolute nutter who doesn’t like an easy life. ⁣ ⁣ Anyway. Here’s a little preview of the new wall colour in the guest room. Still blue, albeit the darker (and totally beautiful) blackish-blue Basalt by @littlegreenepaintcompany. Because if it ain’t broke don’t fix it…just tinker with it slightly. What do you guys think?⁣ ⁣ I’m also pretty pleased with the results of my first fabric-dyeing experiment. This bed linen was dark grey and as if my magic now it is blue 🙌 ⁣ ⁣ Happy Monday guys. And one from me. Milo loves jumping on this antique stitched stool and scratching his nails on it. It was inexpensive so I let him. He’s one lucky cat. It’s about the only thing in the house that’s not a scratching post I will let them use as one.

Continuing to spread my love of London’s mass of delicious Victorian homes with this renovated beauty via Shoot Factory. I do love the decor throughout this home, and though I love a mix of periods, I can’t help but think the homeowners should have stuck with a more traditional vibe throughout.
