Crittall & Hill

“We are passionate about long lasting design, working with a balance of opposing elements and materials to create a sense of energy and intrigue.

So few photographs in their portfolio but so much to like.  One to keep an eye on Stroud based design studio Crittall & Hill.

A double-height void is the centrepiece of this extension to an Edwardian house by De Rosee Sa. The Dulwich home is in an area with strict heritage guidelines and the client wished to enhance the character of the property while remaining sympathetic to the surroundings. A wonderful example of how modern and heritage can work in harmony with each other.

Another visit with Jason Arnold

It’s been a few years since we featured the work of Nashville interior designer Jason Arnold here and here, and I continue to be smitten with his spaces that are sophisticated yet livable, classy and timeless, old mixed with new.

Rental apartments don’t have to be boring and lack personality. In the case of this rental Manhattan pied-à-terre designer Martin Brudnizki of MBDS piled on the elegance and added a dose of chic with a huge tapestry (go big in a small space!), lots of art and a curtain to hide the ugly kitchen. This is all you need for a quick visit to the big city. (Photos: Nicole Franzen)

Sunday at White Water lodge

Posted on Sun, 2 May 2021 by KiM

We’re still in lockdown so I’m dreaming of escaping to….just about anywhere. White Water lodge on Moonstone Beach in Cambria, CA would be an absolutely fabulous getaway. What a stunning location! Designed by Freudenberger Design Studio.
